This workshop offers a warm and thoughtful space for exploring the rich terrain of elderhood. Together, we will create a safe and intelligent environment and an intentional container for reflection, connection, and discovery. Our time together will be pragmatic: you will have the opportunity to apply each module to your specific concerns.
In this unique experience, we will explore the challenges and opportunities inherent in elderhood. For many people, becoming an elder may be accompanied by anxiety and uncertainty as our very mortality becomes a near reality. The passage of time takes on new meaning. This chapter of our lives may also be exciting, empowering and joyful.
Drawing on Phillip Moffitt’s Change and Transition Methodology and timeless sources of wisdom, including mindfulness practices, the Seven Factors of Awakening, and guided meditations, we will explore how to live with more grace and vitality amidst the reality of impermanence. This workshop is an invitation into deep personal inquiry. It is an opportunity to reclaim elderhood as a time of more wisdom, meaning, and contentment.
